Since 1927, the Women’s Board has funded grants to every clinical department of The Johns Hopkins Hospital and scholarships to the Schools of Medicine and Nursing. The Board also has made major gifts, including, most recently, two million dollars to the Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children’s Center. The purchases by customers at the Gift Shops, Carry On Shop, and Renewal, donations to the resale shops, and the generosity of sponsors and supporters has enabled the Board to grant over $26 million to Johns Hopkins.
