The Board raises funds in a variety of ways.
Businesses include three Gift Shops, located throughout The Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Carry On Shop, a resale, thrift store, located on Monument Street and the newest, Renewal Upscale Resale with women’s and men’s wear, at the Hunt Valley Towne Centre.
Special Events include The Golf Classic and Great Taste fundraisers. Great Taste special events have included gala dinners and auctions. The Johns Hopkins Golf Classic is held each spring.
Contributions are given by generous supporters and by members of Women’s Board. Depending upon the designation of the donor, these gifts are added to the Endowment Fund or to the Unrestricted Reserve Fund.
